Shop & Organization Setup

After you've created your organization, your first step should be to configure your shop settings.

You can access these settings at any time from the sidebar or by navigating directly to the /settings page.

Organization Details

This section allows you to set your business's identity. You can update:

  • Company Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email

Localization (Tax & Currency)

This is a critical setting for your financial reports and sales.

In the Tax Area & Currency dropdown, you can select your country of operation:

  • Kenya
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
  • Rwanda
  • Burundi

Selecting a country will automatically set the currency symbol (e.g., KES, TZS) and default tax rate used across the application.

Receipt Customization

You can personalize your receipts by adding a Custom Receipt Footer Message. This is a great place to add a "Thank you" note, your return policy, or a Wi-Fi password.

Loyalty Program

You can enable Zyrepha's built-in Loyalty Program to reward your customers. Once enabled, you will need to configure two key settings:

  1. Amount for 1 Point: The amount of money a customer must spend to be awarded one (1) point.
  2. Value of 1 Point: The monetary value (e.g., kes 100) that one (1) point is worth when the customer wants to redeem it.

This allows customers to earn points as they spend and redeem them for a discount on future purchases.

Product Categories

From the settings page, you can create all the Product Categories for your inventory. These categories will be used to group your products, making inventory management and reporting much easier.

Editing Your Branches

The settings page will list all the branches in your organization. From here, you can edit the details for any existing branch:

  • Branch Name
  • Location
  • Phone Number
  • Email

Note: Creating or Deactivating Branches

While you can edit branch details from the /settings page, you must go to a separate page to create new branches or deactivate existing ones.

This is done from the Manage Branches page, which you can find in the sidebar or by navigating to /manage-branches.
